Tempurpedic king size deluxe 10" mattress

We bought the mattress, foundation and Signature sleigh bed in 2005.Initially, it took approximately three weeks for me to adjust to the bed, my wife adjusted to it immediately. About one year ago both of us starting having back and hip issues with this bed, and because of the high cost of this bed we have tried to put up with the discomfort, even to the extent of buying a down/feather topper for the bed. this has helped somewhat, but because of the stated warranty of 20 years I decided to contact Tempurpedic to see if there was any recourse for us.I first talked to a rep that was very helpful, sending me forms, etc; until I mentioned we live in Canada, then everything came to a halt, and I was advised to contact the Canadian Tempurpedic office. Different story from them, was told to contact store I bought the unit from, that they did not handle warranty requests direct. Did that and was told I did not have an issue that was covered under warranty, period. The total outlay on this bed was just over $6000.00, and , based on my experience with Tempurpedic Canada I would definitely state buyer beware if anyone is considering purchasing this mattress.
