Tempurpedic Celebrity mattress

We have the Tempurpedic Celebrity mattress since 2005 and it got replaced once because of soar back. After they replaced it 6 months later it was fine until the last 9 month of back pain.

My side is real soft unlike my wife side. I sink in it and it is not comfortable. I am gonna contact them for another replacement.

I am beginning to wonder if the Tempurpedic Celebrity mattress is really worth the money we paid.

I'm gonna try it one more time and if we have problems i gonna sell it and get something else.

Back Pain from Tempurpedic

My husband and I bought a Tempurpedic Classic III, which arrived 3 weeks ago. From night 1, I was waking up a bit stiff (thought it was just the "adjustment period" that they talk about). It's even in the FAQs on their web site. But by the end of week 3 my back was so sore that I went to see my doctor who advised me that she has heard of other folks who have developed back pain because of Tempurpedic. A quick search on the Internet and I found several other reviewers who experienced the same problem that I did.

Fortunately, I am able to exchange this mattress for another type. In the meantime, I am sleeping in my guest room on a standard mattress, and going for physiotherapy to fix my back.

Novosbed Memory foam

I've heard mixed reviews about Tempurpedic, so I haven't bought one although I've always been interested in memory foam since I heard of it.

I found a website that sells memory foam (but not Tempurpedic) for way less than Tempurpedic, so I bought one and have had it for about 8 months now, and it is really comfortable. I haven't had any back pains and my husband also loves it.

Flaw in workmanship

We bought a king size Tempurpedic Celebrity mattress and have tried sleeping on it for the past 3 years. The left side is flawed and does not support your back.

We have since had back problems because of it. The manufacturers and the place we bought it (RC Willeys) does not stand behind their warranty. I would not encourage anyone to buy a tempurpedic mattress.
