The super single waterbed mattress is the waterbed equivalent of a single bed.

Some people like the idea of a waterbed but do not want a large bulky frame taking up space in the bedroom.

The super single water bed mattress is the most compact waterbed frame available in a hard side wood frame waterbed, and it may be the perfect solution in such situations.

Its dimensions of 48"x84" will accommodate even very tall or very wide people. It is larger than a twin bed and smaller than a double or full size bed.

This size of bed also works well in children's bedrooms or particularly small bedrooms. Many super single waterbed frames have drawers underneath for extra storage and can even replace a dresser in bedrooms with limited space.

Super single waterbed mattresses are available with all of the features that can be found in larger sizes waterbed mattresses. You can opt for a simple free flow bladder, or choose from a wide selection of waveless super single waterbed mattresses.

The difference in size between these three mattresses is significant enough that you need to decide which is most important: compact size or spacious sleep surface. A double bed measures 54"x75" and a twin bed measures 36"x75", while the super single falls into the middle with a width of 48".

However, the super single waterbed mattress has an additional 9" in length over conventional sized compact mattresses, so taller adults may find the super single waterbed a more suitable choice.

Super single size waterbeds are only available in hard side wood frame waterbeds. If it is a soft side waterbed that you prefer, you will have to choose between a twin size and a full size mattress, because soft side beds are not available in super single.
