I did some research before buying a bed about a year ago and decided on a Tempurpedic. I noticed that there were some complaints about the bed, but there isn't a bed made that pleases everyone. The retailer that sold the bed to me gave me a great deal, so I figured that if I didn't like it, I could always return it.
I love the bed! I don't wake up to any lower-back pain anymore. It does get warm in the summer, but I sleep with a fan, and nothing covering me up.
I invested in a mattress cover/sheet to keep any sweat off the mattress.
People complain about the cost of a good bed, but you have to remember that sleep is very important to good health. We spend about 1/3 of our lives sleeping.
My next mattress will be a Tempurpedic.
